32 second audio ip camera

Postby GnarlyDarlin » 14 Jul 2011 02:14

Hello

I'm using VLC media player version 1.1.10, on a 64 bit Windows 7 computer. I have 2 DLink 930L ip cameras, and when I try to listen to the audio (on either camera), I can only get 32 seconds - every time. The timer window in the media player shows 00:??/00:32 as soon as I add the network stream and press play. I would really like to get this working, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lisa

Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start playback. It will tell you more about the issue.

I did that - but I don't know anything about scripting, so here's the (edited to remove personal info and urls) log, hoping someone can help me out:

wav debug: chunk: fcc=`data` size=1048422
It seems VLC either getting one chunk or that there is some kind of bug in somewhere.

If I set VLC media player to loop playback, I get fairly continuous playback. Is there a way to set the VLC plugin to loop? I'm using it in iSpy.

Thanks for your help.

:loop or :repeat should work.
