I am using windows XP VLC 0.86i for live H264 RTP multicast streaming for a few years.

Works very well.

I tried 1.1.10 but the RTP H264 multicast streaming crashes VLC after about 8 hours of streaming.

Have you met the same pb ?

If you know how to use gdb, you might be able to pinpoint the issue.
