I watch cartoons on one (in fullscreen mode) and play games on the other. when vlc goes to the next video in my playlist, if the resolution is different then the previous video, it starts playing in the other screen under my game in "VLC(software YUV SDL output)" window.

change video output to open GL
multi display/monitor vlc exits full screen
