Can we add some subtite to live video ?

Hello, I want to stream video from a IP camera. The IP camera provide the data interface like this: rtsp://172.16.5.5:8557/PSIA/Streaming/channels/2?videoCodecType=H.264 .I want to know that if I use VLC to stream it and live the new stream, how i embed some subtitle . I want to live the IP camera video with subtitle.

If you just need static text added to video, you can use marquee filter. If you need to load a subtitle file, it isn't as easy, since timecodes can be a bit tricky with streams.

OK, I have get that. Marquee can't be save in the file. It save the lastest modified text int the file only.
