VLC sometimes does not save preferences

Well, sometimes I modify several options in vlc, but I realize that they are not saved, and lately I had to change one by one, save the preferences and see if they were stored, edit another and so on. I wonder if this happens to someone else O_o

Saving can fail. And sometimes it can even output corrupted file.

VLC can write such vlcrc file, that it will crash VLC on startup.

1 minute later... oh, is in the vlc user configuration folder. What it does?
I can open that file, is not corrupted and I have no other issues with vlc, just the preferences dont saving sometimes. Thanks

Most VLC settings are stored to vlcrc file. And it should always update itself when you use Tools -> Preferences, change settings from there and press Save.
