Hello, first post here, and I've a problem.

First, the specs and stats:
VLC 1.1.9
Windows 7 Professional x32
Output: MS Lifechat LX 3000 headphones

When playing .flv files (specifically, a set from a review course I own), VLC keeps intermittently shutting off. It doesn't generate a crash notice, but behaves as if the video was over. This is new- going back to files I last viewed several weeks ago, it's stopping when it never did before.

I have tried a reinstall of VLC to no effect, and have reset the preferences to no effect.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback and then paste the full resulting log here.
Also upload a SHORT sample of a problematic file to Multiupload.com, so it will upload the file for you to several other hosts, and then post the link to the file here.

I've tried and I can't shorten the file, and it's 180MB. Working on the upload now.

At what time of the file does it crash for you ?

I can't reproduce the issue then, it's playing fine to me.

Hmmm... it's playing fine on my laptop- Win7 Pro x32, same VLC. Might a simple reinstall be enough?

No need to reinstall. You can reset VLC settings by removing %appdata%\vlc folder.

A problem related to FLV has been found in VLC 1.1.9 and the first build of VLC 1.1.10.
A new build of VLC 1.1.10 has been made so please download again the latest build of VLC 1.1.10 which should fix the problem.

Tried a fresh install of 1.1.10, still the same problem. Tried an uninstall of all preferences, still the same. Did 1.1.8 have this bug with flv?
