Windows 7 ScreenSaver :: disabled even if player on pause?

Hi, I don't think its vlc, but for some reason my computer no longer goes into Screen Saver mode. I usually have at least 1 vlc window open at all times. Does having a video on pause prevent windows (7/all?) from going into Screen Saver mode?

screensaver dont stop because of some video players there is something else
