Strange seeking with wmv3 files

Postby pgriffet » 21 Apr 2011 08:33

Hi all, I use vlc on a Win7, it works fine for file seeking with avi but with wmv3 files, I have a strange behaviour.

I seek the files with Shift-Right, Alt-Right and CTRL-Right or left.
After ± 10 seeks left or right, the Shift-Right goes backward in time, instead of forward !
Ok, I can use Alt or CTRL but I think it's a bug or at least, something to change.
The file itself is not a problem, I have tested the seek with MPC.
I have this problem with all WMV3 files.

I have searched on the forum, there are threads with seeking wmv files but not the problem I have.

Known issue, WMV seeking might be a bit better in VLC 1.2.0 but AFAIK it isn't perfect.
