1.1.8 plays video garbled; 1.1.7 plays it fine

Running VLC on Windows XP. When I updated to 1.1.8, a particular set of videos started shoing up like this:

But going back to 1.1.7:

So presumably something happened in the update. Anyone know why this might be? If I need to provide more information, please let me know what is needed and where to find it. This is pretty much the first problem I've ever had with VLC, so I've never had a reason to poke about it's innards!

Confirmed, seems like WMV3 decoding issue with libavcodec.

And this is now fixed in libavcodec. So next version of VLC will get it.
