.TS TV recordings do not display time /progress

Haven't noticed this before so maybe a new bug with 1.1.8, .TS files, MPEG2 or H.264 do not show time progress in bottom right corner, just 00:00.

This was always the case in VLC.

Because noone has implemented the correct algorithm to work with it.
