Taskbar options // Video+playlist docking issue

Postby Jerbear » 06 Mar 2011 17:44

Hi,
two separate issues here.
1)
is there a way to completely remove VLC from the taskbar, regardless of its status (in exchange for a system tray icon)?
As in, even when it's the active window, to only display a system tray icon? (Winamp has this option, for example)

2)
if I dock the playlist, the video isn't displayed.
I'm 90% sure I'm being a retard with this one. How do I see the video playing if I've docked the playlist?

thanks for your time

1) click on the systray icon for that.
2) you cannot, this will be fixed in 1.2
