How Can I Play Blu-ray Video Stored On HDD?

Postby rckowal » 09 Feb 2011 15:56

Maybe I'm wrong, but I understand that VLC is supposed to be able play Blu-ray video files stored on a PC's HDD. I just installed an LG BD-ROM on my desktop. A Blu-ray movie disc played just fine in the new drive. It was then copied (backed up) to the HDD using DVDFab. The audio plays OK but there is no video.

I've looked on the web & tried for most of a day but haven't been able to figure what's wrong. Can some one please help me get started so I can play my files? Any support will be much appreciated.
