DVD Folder does not play

I create with Videostudio 11 DVD Folders onto my HDD, which I once could play with VLC.

It is not working anymore, since a few updates (When? probably before 1.1.5). Currently I use 1.1.6. I open the folder with open media. Some of the files in the folder play when I click the next Button on vlc, but there is no menu for the DVD.

When I burn the folder onto a DVD (Nero DVD format) VLC plays almost correctly, I just have to click on next title to get to the menu - that is probably because I do not create a title menu. Although my DVD player goes directly to the menu with the chapters.

As you can see there are no strange characters in my path.

vlc jumps directly to sub menu per default
may be this causes the problems when u have no menu at all

(vlc skips intro and copyright infos of dvds)


to open dvds original wise like normal dvd players
u have to disable the function in the options

remove the hook (den haken raus nehmen)

Me Dummy must have been blind! The path included a '°', probably a strange character. I renamed the folder by removing this strange character, and that was it!

Anyway thanx for the help
