Could someone change the installation program so the checkbox for Mozilla Plugin would be checked by default (It's the only one that is unchecked on every installation). Thanks

I am also interested in this feature and do not understand the incoherency of treatment between IE and FF vlc plugins.
If this is not possible, is there a way to avoid this deinstall/reinstall by shuffling around files and editing some files ?
thanks !

understood but it is not an option. Developping an application multi-platforms and I can't build script for each platform type - plus I do not want to replicate the multi-platform binaries repository .
FInally targetted users are supposed to install separately the VLC player.
Therefore I need the option by default.
thanks for your understanding.

This was introduced in VLC 2.0 thru commita12ca580c66127ea99fd7dc47c42c636a5dd5b75 by RSAtom
thanks Sergei !
