size bug?

I'm not sure what sets this problem off, but I've had a problem with VLC starting not full screen but maximized. I try and keep it to where it starts as a small window. I think it may have something to do with the location of vlc when i close it or when what i'm watching ends? anyone else having an issue with the window size?
