Display stream in web interface

How would you display a stream inside the web interface (if that's even possible) ?
I successfully connect to the remote location (where VLC is streaming the video and serving HTTP stream) using the VLC as a client on a different location. What I would like is to be able to access the stream from the same server via web browser (without using additional VLC client).

The Flash plugin should display the videos. You can also add VLC ActiveX or Mozilla component to webpage.
