Macroblocks when DXVA is active

Since VLC added DXVA ability to ATI cards I've been using it with no problems.
Today I was rewatching this video I ripped, and it gets a lot of macroblocks when DXVA is activated. Nothing happens when DXVA is disabled, it plays as smooth as ever was.

It's very notable on the golf scene and when the power goes out.
I don't know what might be happening. The bitrate is very low compared with full HD videos I play fine.
