VLC 1.1.4 crash with DTS Audio CD

Postby geantVert » 03 Oct 2010 00:28

If I "Open Disc" a Audio CD that contains DTS encoded surround sound, VLC crashes. However, if I select, in the "Open Disc" dialog, a "Starting Position" track other than 0, I'm able to make VLC open and play the track correctly. E.g. If I select 2, VLC will play track #2. If I select track #0 (which should open all the tracks) -> crash.

If I open manually all the tracks, and saves the resulting Playlist, VLC refuses to load it and crashes while opening it.

It is the CDDB bug with Audio CDs on Windows. Disable CDDB and VLC will play the whole CD without crashing.
