Just wondering about this.

The latest release exhibits a delay when going to full screen and back again - can be up to around 4-5 seconds.

Seems weird as it's normally instantaneous.

My computer specs are e8400(2x3GHZ) 4GB RAM Intel 9800GTX+

Wildly differing hardware too; what OS are you on?

I have the same issue even if I'm watching some low resolution video. My hardware:

Motherboard: GA-EP43-S3L
RAM: 2x 1024 MB OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Reaper
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850
GPU: MSI GeForce GTS 250
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit

I had this problem the moment I've started using VLC prior to 1.1.4.
