Win7-64 VLC 1.1.4 cannot read CD audio

On my 3 home-pc's under Windows 7-64 bits, VLC 1.1.4 crash when trying to read any of my CD audio ...
afterward, when I open VLC, I'll get the following message:

VLC media player just crashed. Do you want to send a bug report to t he developers team?

================================

I did send reports at first crashes ...

On the other hand, I can read my CD audio under Windows XP/sp3 32 bits PC, with VLC 1.1.4.
My Win7 and XP PC's can read video DVD and DivX without problem.

Tks hardynicks for the tip ... I'll just tested VLC 1.05 on one of my WIN7-64 PC ... then it works reading audio CD's with VLC v1.05.

As far as my own pc's are concerned I will keep VLC 1.1.4 and read audio CD's with an another app ... just don't know what VLC version to install on my friedns PC's I build up (beginners users)
