GPU decoding turns off by itself
Whenever GPU acceleration is on, it has worked great for me. There's no glitches in the videos and CPU usage is down 30%. Sometimes, when I go to check if GPU acceleration is still on, I find that it unchecks itself. It's a pain in the neck to have to constantly turn it back on and reboot VLC for acceleration to take effect. Is it possible that video encodings that don't support acceleration turn it off? I play various types of files in a given day - h264, xvid, divx, wmv, mp3.

AFAIK no. Are you sure this in only option that reverts itself?Is it possible that video encodings that don't support acceleration turn it off?
