1.1.4 Crashes on EVERYTHING

I'm trying to watch a video stream...and ANYTHING crashes VLC 1.1.4
Stopping the stream, VLC closes, changing streaming links (as the stream uses multiple servers) crashes it, saving settings int he options crashes it.
What gives?

Does it help if you remove %appdata%\vlc folder?

Do you mean C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC ?
BTW. I'm on Windows XP, not Vista or 7

No. Open Windows Explorer and type %appdata%\vlc to address bar and press OK.

That didn't help me. It still crashes regularly.

Show only broadcasts on Sundays... so it's kinda hard give a link to somethign that's isn't live
