Cannot Playback DVD

Hi,
Since i installed VLC on my new system i have trouble playing DVD's, (movies)
After doing some research and not getting to an solution i capured some error messages
This is what the logging gives me (level 2) when i choose to playback drive E

Im running windows 7 ultimate 32 bits.
Using the latest version of VLC so i hope you can solve it =D

Does it work any better if you try to open dvd://E:\VIDEO_TS ?

yes that did work, But why it doesnt open it as it would do normal, just select disk and go..

Either dvdnav or dvdread bug.

I have some burned DVDs,both -R and +R. VLC can't open either,I have the latest VLC version.Plays commercial DVDs fine.Any suggestions?Win XP Pro 64.

friscof: do VLC messages complain something when you try to open those problematic discs?
