First I want to give my compliments to all of you for this fine product.

I updated to vlc-1.1.2 after running vlc-1.1.1 Using a network connection to a shared folder and choosing for (CTRL+ F) opening a (VIDEO_TS) folder, with a movie in it, VLC crashed immediately. I have tried this with more VIDEO_TS folders.

Uninstalling vlc-1.1.2 completely followed by (re-)installing vlc-1.1.1 using the default settings solved this issue. In fact I use almost the default settings: I only change the installation drive C:\ into D:\ and keep the installation path.

Reinstalling version 1.1.2 again gave the same results, which were resolved after installing Version 1.1.1. So I can reproduce this issue.

I use a Windows 7 client which runs the VLC. My shared folder, with the mentioned movie(s), runs on a Windows 2003 SP2 server.

Same issue.

Win 7 x64
Q6600 processor.
7 gigs of DDR2 RAM
1.5 TB HDD
GeForce GTX260 SC
Nvidia 680i Mobo.

I have the same issue when trying to load a playlist. I've reverted back to 1.1.1

This will be fixed in VLC 1.1.3

I get the exact same error message. I tried going back to 1.1.0. and 1.1.1. - same message. I was JUST watching a DVD yesterday morning using 1.1.2. and a few hours later, I get this error.

This is happening on both my laptop and my desktop both running W7 - x86 and x64.

Can someone PLEASE fix this? I'd really like to watch something as I don't have TV.

I'm using 8/15 build of 1.2.0 GIT....

It's working, but I have to click on the individual VOB file instead of right moue clicking on the VIDEO_TS directory. But for now, I'll take it.

I almost hoped this hadn't worked. My new addiction to Rome is not conducive to studying. lol
