Flickering and Audio Delay on VLC 1.1.0-pre1

Postby Markie_3 » 12 Aug 2010 20:05

Hi all

I'm using VLC 1.1.0-pre1 on WinXP and I noticed these bugs:
1.) Brightness flicker
Unlike other players playing the same file, VLC creates strong brightness
flickering in some areas and at some times. It's as if there were
black frames or frames with less brightness in between (which there
are not). This happens with mpeg and mp4 files.
2.) Working on a video project, I noticed that VLC causes a strong
audio-video mismatch (mp4)!
Audio is at least 0.5 seconds dalayed!!! (or vice versa), causing
bangs to show after (or before) you hear them in the film!

Regards,
Mark
