Can anyone please tell me how to remove VLC 1.1.2 from my Windows XP machine?

Is there an uninstall program?

Well, even though there was not an uninstall selection on the the start/programs menu,
I found the uninstall program in the programs/vlc folder,
but there is still a lot of files left over in the plugins folder.
C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\sdk\include\vlc\plugins
... nothing in the folders previous to plugins, just in plugins.

Why were these not removed as well as everything else?

If you are running vlc.exe or VLC browser plugin while you start the uninstaller, it cannot remove those file because they are still in use.
