I am not able to use direct3d for Video Playback.
VLC 1.1.x Video Playback starts only with module directx = bad picture quality
With VlC 1.0.5 everything works ok

"direct3d error: Could not create the D3D device! (hr=0x8876017C)"
Change video output or update your drivers...

I hope you used 1.1.2

Because your card driver is broken...

Update your driver or change video output.

I am not able to use direct3d for Video Playback.
VLC 1.1.x Video Playback starts only with module directx = bad picture quality
+ Windows 7 Basic color scheme

No Picture in VLC 1.1.x not only on nVidia cards

My driver IS the latest available and after reinstall, I have the same issue

yes, I am sure they will release a new driver for me ....
Or alternatively, i can buy a new Laptop, to use Vlc 1.1.2.. Never read such a piece of bul******it before. Thanks for your "help" and arrogance

Or use openGL output
I think, I will stay with VLC 1.0.5, it works, so why change

why can't we call this regression?
maybe ATI can release a special version for VLC(but that is only for current cards)
