Opening multiple instances of VLC

Postby Viper5 » 17 Jul 2010 04:12

Is there a way to open VLC 2 or more times so that one could watch two different files simultaneously? I have done it before, but it wasn't intentional and could have just been a glitch.

Yes you can. If you have enabled Allow only one instance, you can disable it from Tools -> Preferences (Interface) then Save and restart VLC. One easy option is to double click vlc.exe multiple times.
