VLC Media Player 1.1.0 crashes when I try to change songs.

Note I havent tried this with videos yet, but anytime I already have VLC open (I.E when a song has finished), if I try to open another song, it will occasionally cause the Player to not respond requiring me to force close it first.
This was with Mp3's.

Is there some way you can always get this behavior?

This happens to me with video. VLC 1.1.0 will lock up on video run or completion about 40%-50% of the time. So far it has locked up on mkv, mpg, and avi. I haven't tried audio files yet.
Edit: Also it happens on single audio and dual audio files both equally. /edit
I've tried resetting preferences, deleting appdata, uninstalling and reinstalling.
I searched the forums but all the solutions listed that I found haven't worked.

After I Installed 1.1.0, I could play songs. The GOOM Visualization however started then froze, every time.
Then..... I re-booted my computer -- Windows XP Pro.
Now, I can't play songs. The song starts, and a half second later, VLC crashes.

MadRocker: removal of %appdata%\vlc folder helps?

So I tried other video output modes and so far everything else I've seen listed to try and fix the crashes.
Nothing worked. Not a thing.
So I uninstalled 1.1.0 and reinstalled 1.0.5.
No crashes. Not a single one. No errors. Just perfect smooth video playback with no lockups at the begining, middle, or end, repeatedly.
The fact that I'm seeing more and more people post about this issue seems to suggest to me that something is a bit more wrong than changing some settings. Especially when going back a version cures every single problem.
I'll hang out on 1.0.5 for a while longer and I'll try VLC's new updates when they come out.
But for those of you having the crashing issues when running a file or when the file ends and tries to move on to another files(Or even if there's nothing after it, it'll still crash) with 1.1.0 just move back to 1.0.5 and it'll be fine.
