Resize fails

I have upgraded to 1.1.0 In the previous version I turned off Resize interface to video size and the videos would always display in the same size as previously set ( I have a large screen and like a large video).
With this upgrade the flag was automatically set on, but when I turn it off, shut down the player and then double click on a video the interface comes up and shows it is playing, I can hear the sound but no video is displayed. Turning the resize flag back on and restarting the video plays again, but always sizes the video to the item being played.

a bug?? or is there something I am missing??

I read through the FAQ and see nothing regarding the resize problem. And I did save after making changes.

Please explain what you want me to see/do.

I suspect you don't understand the problem. I read thru the wiki again (same as previous link you gave) and it doesn't apply to the resize not working the way it used to.
