Hi. I've been using the media player for a couple of months now and was after clarification on a few things. I'm running xp with 3 gigs and Intel i7. Recently installed player 1.1

1) playback stutters at stop and start when you hit pause. eg when u pause the player doesn't stop where you paused, then cuts out for a bit, plays a tiny bit more, then stops. Same when starting. Is there any setting I can change to remedy.

2) no matter what visualisation I select when playing audio, the video window is black.

3) is there any way of saving a custom video effect setting.

3) is there a way to replace the traffic cone image when playing audio.

4) do any custom skins come with support for advanced controls.

5) can volume be set above 200%.

4. No, skins2 is different engine than QT4.

Don't understand the question. None of the viz display when ANY audio file plays. Is the there something I can try?

I figured out what u mean. I tried several including directx and openGL but same result.

If you open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback with Visualization does the message window complain something?
