Fulscreen on Secondary Monitor: Second Use

If I drag the VLC window to the secondary monitor and enter fullscreen mode, it works fine. But if I try to use that window to start a second video, it displays on the primary monitor, not fullscreen, but without the windows borders. By "use that window" I include, use the pulldown to open a new file, doubleclick on a video file in the Windows Explorer and the second video when viewing a folder of video files.

This almost always happens, but not always.

I'm using Windows XP SP3 and VLC 4.4.2.

Any ideas?

Thanks -- Vincent

I got confused with the compiler version.

I'm using VLC version 1.0.5 Goldeneye.

Thanks -- Vincent

That has fixed the problem. I can't tell you how many versions of VLC I have downloaded hoping the latest one will fix this problem. Now, at last, it has.

Many thanks to all -- Vincent
