I got a few problems when playing the .rmvb format with the VLC player:
- Its hardly possible to rewind or fast forward on the timline, the video just doesnt switchs to the ordered position but goes back to the last one.
- after pausing the video a few times the video just didn't got sound anymore and i needed to restart the player

I dont know if its win specific, sry if its the wrong forum

This problem occurred because of corrupt media file .
and if in all .rmvb file facing same problem then update your VLC.

When I play a file .rmvb and use the controls to advance or delay the video, appears a message vlc.exe stopped working. When I was using VLC 1.0.5 this problem was not the case. Currently use 64-bit Windows 7. Sorry for my English. I'm using Google to translate.

I'm using VLC 1.1.4 on Win7 64b, and I also see the same problem: vlc stops working when you try to advance or go back an rmvb video.
