Volume not saved on exit, windows 7

how to force it to save volume on exit?

I tired everything with vlcrc (conf. file)

Also, had issues with saving deinterlace mode, so in order to enable it permanently I had to check "Deinterlacing video filter" in filters.
What to do with sound? There's nothing similar for it.

Happily, found some script
https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/attachmen ... exit.patch
but it seems that I need to install python (and then what?) simply put, it's no good, need something simpler.
Of course I checked "save volume on exit" in options.

Also, what to do for last played file to be saved?

I think the option is still broken. (I haven't tested this on VLC 1.1.0 nightly builds)

You have to wait till someone fixes this. (patches are for source code, so if you want to test it out, you have to build VLC from sourcecode)
