I've created a 2x2 mosaic to view surveillance camera's output:

Code: Select all

new cam1 broadcast enabled setup cam1 input http://192.168.0.1:8081 setup cam1 output #duplicate{dst="mosaic-bridge{id=1,width=640,height=480}"} new cam2 broadcast enabled setup cam2 input http://192.168.0.1:8082 setup cam2 output #duplicate{dst="mosaic-bridge{id=2,width=640,height=480}"} new cam3 broadcast enabled setup cam3 input http://192.168.0.1:8083 setup cam3 output #duplicate{dst="mosaic-bridge{id=3,width=640,height=480}"} new cam4 broadcast enabled setup cam4 input http://192.168.22.1:8081 setup cam4 output #duplicate{dst="mosaic-bridge{id=4,width=640,height=480}"} new mosaic broadcast enabled setup mosaic input fake:// setup mosaic option mosaic-width=1280 setup mosaic option mosaic-height=960 setup mosaic option mosaic-rows=2 setup mosaic option mosaic-cols=2 setup mosaic option mosaic-position=1 setup mosaic option mosaic-order="1,2,3,4" setup mosaic option fake-file="d:\programs\bg2.png" setup mosaic option fake-caching=50 setup mosaic option fake-width=1280 setup mosaic option fake-height=960 setup mosaic option fake-fps="25" setup mosaic option fake-deinterlace setup mosaic output #transcode{deinterlace,sfilter=mosaic,vcodec=mp4v,vb=10000,acodec=none}:bridge-in{id-offset=100}:display control cam1 play control cam2 play control cam3 play control cam4 play control mosaic play
It's working awesome, not leaking memory (vlc.exe took ~130mb), but when i am trying to close VLC, it crashes.
%APPDATA%\VLC\crashdump is only 3 bytes: 0xEFBBBF (header maybe?)
When not using Mosaic it closes fine.
It's not annoying much, but it would be good to fix it. VLC is 1.0.5, OS is Win7 x86-64, but same behavior is on WinXP SP3 x86.
Thanks!

Have you tried VLC 1.1.0 nightly builds?

Just tried vlc-1.1.0-git-20100327-0002-win32, it quits fine, thanks! Will keep looking for other bugs in beta build... :)
