Next Chapter/Title button does not work on DVD ISO ?

If I play a DVD ISO image file, and the DVD menu starts playing, the "Next Chapter/Title" button does not work or it restarts the menu animation.

Is this normal? I expected to start some part of of the movie.
I tried with two different images. Otherwise they play normally (by selecting the movie start in the DVD menu).

I tried with an actual DVD (not the same movie) andf there it works.
The button starts the movie.

This id with VLC 1.1.5.

I also tried some ISOs (I made them from DVDs I had, straight "rip", no conversions).
Some start playing the movie right away (I right click the iso file in Explorer and select "Play with VLC media player"),
on others the DVD menu is displayed and the Next Chapter/Title button just restarts the menu background animation.

ISO playback has some issues. Could you open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you do anything, then do the non-working with ISO and working with actual DVD and report differences here?

The log is a bit noisy due to all the debug messages.
I don't see anything meaningful (to me).

I don't see anything critical there. It just seems that the ISO parsing has some issues.
