I simply wonder how I increase gain/volume. The span between silence and full blast is very small by default.

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.

I suppose what I want is for the curve A to B in the picture to have a steeper inclination,
something like A to C, if you get my drift.
