Adding media controls to VLC Plug-in for Firefox

Hi, is there any way to add media controls (pause, stop, etc...) to the plug-in? I am using 1.0.3 version. I haven't see how to do it at: http://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:WebPlugin

Or I have to develop my own HTML controlling VLC plug-in with JavaScript under the covers using playlist object?
