vlc: how to play zip files?

Hello, i have windows XP, and the last version of vlc player.

I have the zip files, with mp3 files.

can i play directly the zip file on vlc? (i would want use the zip file "open with -> VLC", with automatic playlist)

I have try the drag&drop of zip files from windows and it doesn't works.

I have tryed the drag&drop with winrar (commercial) and it works
I have tryed the drag&drop with 7zip (opensource) and it doesn't works

What does Tools -> Messages... (set Verbosity to 2) say when you drag&drop the file?
