--http-reconnect

Postby MortenKjarulff » 23 Nov 2009 20:24

Hi,

I have a vlm configuration running on computer A, it streams a webcam. I run

Code: Select all

vlc --http-reconnect http://mortenkjarulff.dyndns.org:80/webcams/cam0.flv
on computer B, and it shows the cam. If I pull out the network cable on computer B, the "movie" freeze (no suprise!), but shouldn't it start again when I put the cable back? (--http-reconnect)? Or have I misunderstod it?

/Morten

You could check from Tools -> Messages... (set Verbosity to 2) what really happens. (open messages before you unplug the cable)
