problems with gamma

hi, i have a problem with the light on my movies when i play them they r all darker than they shoud. when i watch a movie and its fx. night i cant see anything at all... any solution?

install the close fglrx driver from Debian/Squeeze.
i also faced the same problem & when I did that, I ran into a few problems with my various video players
so I revisited the vlc player to see how it was working.
My desktop looks great and performs well after the fglrx reinstall.
