Ever since the last update, I can't arrange the media files on the playlist manually. I can only arrange them now by clicking on the tabs (Title, duration, album, etc) and sorting them automatically, but I can't arrange them manually anymore by dragging and dropping. Tried several reinstalls and also tried to reinstall VLC to a previous version, but none of them worked. How can this be fixed?

I can confirm this problem, and it seems to be new to 1.0.2, as it was working fine in 1.0.1.

Any way we can add buttons to the Playlist to help with moving items up and down on the list?

This should be fixed in next release.

That would be great, thanks! The reason I suggest it is, even when the feature to manually arrange the playlist did work in 1.0.1, it was a guessing game on where the item would move to once you dragged it either up or down. I think having a couple of directional buttons may help with this issue, if possible.

Yea, arranging it already was tricky. When it still worked, you couldn't drag one item to the top. Instead, it would end up beneath the item that was on the top of the list already and you had to move that item 1 line down if you ever wanted to have an item to the top

Which reminds me, would there be any way to add/edit the manual arranging feature in the playlist so that you can move more than one item at a time (i.e. as a group). Sorry, I should I have mentioned this before the ticket for the buttons request was opened, but I'm guessing this would probably be a separate request altogether. Thoughts?

I have the newest release but the problem is still not fixed. Please try and get to this issue, I for one would REALLY seriously appreciate it!! By the way, as for the buttons option, I don't know anything about writing software, but I personally find that to be the most inefficient way ever. Drag and drop please? Thank you guys.
