My VLC Media Player wont play my .mp4 video
Need Help.

Is it one file or multiple .mp4 files? Does it work by using Menu > Open File in VLC? If its one file that's not working it is probably corrupt, if multiple files don't work its player.

I have the same problem. I have tried so many players, so many codecs,ffdshow, you name it, and i cannot get sound when playing MP4 files! I have XP Pro SP3 with Realtek high-def sound. I always get good picture and framerate, just zero sound! Can anyone help?

So please, just do it!

what's the point when I have multiple MP4 files from various sources, have tried so much (see above) so uploading a sample has no point to it, as far as I am concerned.
