No video, but sound!

Hi,

I install VLC 1.01 Goldeneye last night on my computer and it works perfectly.I open the same video today and ive got a gray screen(no video) but ive got the sound...same for other codecs. Ive got windows xp service pack 2 version 2002.

Someone know why?

I would like to add that on some occasions and reasons unrelated to VLC, the Gamma, Contrast, Saturation, and Brightness of the video card's overlay layer may all be set to 0, giving the impression that video output is missing. If your video card support adjustments of more than one of these values for the overlay, you may want to check that out as well.
