Hi, I am starting vlc from the command line and would like to start the visualization (VU meter) with the specified size of its window and with specified positioning (location on the desktop). I only found --effect-width=<integer> and --effect-height=<integer> options but nothing like --effect-position-x or something like that. Is it possible to setup position of visualization window? Thank you.

Hello, I believe that I am asking the same question in a different language
: How do I set the media player to open full screen and in the center of my desktop? Is there a simplier way than that described above? Or can you guide me to where I can implement the directions above? Thank you for your help.

How do I set the media player to open full screen
-f, --fullscreen, --no-fullscreen
Fullscreen video output (default disabled)
Start video in fullscreen mode (default disabled)

and in the center of my desktop?
What you mean with center?
