I'm almost convinced to use VLC as my default media player. I now have it doing all the things I like about Zoom player except for 2 features:

1. Being able to autoplay the next file in a directory without having to build a playlist before hand

2. being able to zoom to greater than fullscreen or 2:1

is there Any way to achieve either of these or any change that they will be in future versions any time soon ?

1. This has been requested earlier, but AFAIK nobody is working on that.
2. Zoom value can be changed from Tool -> Preferences... (Show settings: All) Video and Zoom video
