In VLC 1.0.1, when I load 3 jpeg images into a playlist and set the playlist to continually loop, watching memory usage, it appears that there is a memory leak when iterating through a set of images. (I used the Default Video Output as well as OpenGL Video Output, same results.)

Are you able to observe this problem, and if so, is there a fix for it?

The memory usage should reset itself after few loops. Or at least it did that in my case.
