Extended Settings

HI,
I've recently installed VLC 1.0.1 Golden Eye on my Windows XP Family. When I click on Extended Settings button nothing happens (no settings window)!!
Could anyone please tell what could be wrong and how to solve this problem?

Does removing of %appdata%\vlc folder help?
