Broadcasting to the internet ?

Is it possible to broadcast my own internet tv channel from my pc, through a router and display it on a webpage using the latest vlc 1.0.1 ?
And if it is possible, how do i do it please ?

For streaming part
http://geraldnaveen.blogspot.com/2009/0 ... g-vlc.html (change source and IP address accordingly, you might leave IP address blank)
