Is there a way we can make VLC remember the audio / video setting ?

and also how to make VLc start with 100 % audio Volume rather than 200% ?

and also what is key or slow pause .. i mean in classic media player we can pause with "space " and then hit "right key " or "left key " so that the video play "STILL BY STILL " i think i made it as much clear as possible...

Forward frame by frame hotkey is e and there isn't backwards support in VLC.

Tools -> Preferences... and Audio set default volume and press Save.

You have to set them via Tools -> Preferences...
